The ADHD Assessment is a diagnostic pathway for a child or adolescent who has not yet been diagnosed. An enquiry or referral may come from a parent or carer, a school, a GP, or directly from the young person if they are old enough. The consultant determines through the assessment whether ADHD is present and considers other possible explanations. The fee covers a single extended consultant assessment using clinical interview, standardised rating scales, developmental and contextual information, and differential consideration. It includes a written report, a supporting letter for school where relevant, and a prescription if medication is clinically agreed.
- Extended video consultation (typically 90 minutes)
- Standardised clinical assessment tools
- Written clinical report with full reasoning
- School support letter where relevant
- Prescription to your nominated pharmacy if clinically agreed
